My New Toy!

We had our family Christmas yesterday afternoon before we had to leave for Paragould today. I will post pictures and more about that later but FIRST I've been playing around with my new toy! It's a new Flip MinoHD. It's a video camera that fits in the palm of my hand so it's easy to carry around, either in my purse or pocket! I've been wanting one for almost a year now because I'm horrible at using our video camera and because it's not very easy to cart around. This will be so much easier...and FUN! Here's a picture of what it looks like...

And this is a video that I took using my new Flip! It does a really great job! Look for more random videos to come on here! I'm sure I will be annoying people this Christmas by taking videos of everything!!

Christmas Party at our place!

On Saturday night, we invited some friends over for a small Christmas Party. It was a fun night of hanging out and playing Taboo! Wes had planned the party and told everyone to wear an ugly Christmas sweater! As I was on my way to Goodwill to try and find our family some sweaters, I realized that it would be fun to MAKE some!! So here is my attempt at Ugly/Funny Christmas shirts!

Ross' shirt said "Santa is my Homeboy". He wanted camo fabric on his. And the back says "Ho" obviously!

My shirt was fun to make! And only 1 person at the party was able to figure out what it said! Can you guess? And the back obviously says "Ho" as well.

And this is Wes' shirt! I got the idea from a shirt my Uncle Joe used to wear at all of our Christmas' growing up! The bottom part was what Wes wanted it to say....And the back obviously says "Ho"

The point was when all three of us stood together it said, "HO HO HO!!" I thought it was cute!

The Teeter Family- Carrie, Matt and Madison. Madison is Ross' "girlfriend" as he calls it! They play so well together!

Happenings

So I don't have much to say on this post but thought I would put up some pictures of the things that's been happening around our neck of the woods lately. So here goes...

Ross' new obsession at the grocery store...baby carts (as he calls them)

This is from his birthday party at preschool. The criteria for the cupcakes...the HAD to have rings on them. That's it...after that he didn't care. Apparently cupcakes with rings are hot ticket items for 4 year olds!

Last Saturday, the 3 of us went to the movies and then went bowling! It was a wonderful family Saturday. We went to see A Christmas Carol and I wasn't impressed. Ross thought the scary parts were funny so that was good I guess!

So each night of the week usually consists of us vegging on the couch after dinner and watching Christmas movies. I caught Ross laying like this on the couch one night. This is EXACTLY the way his Daddy lays....funny stuff.

On a completely different note, Harley got to take a trip to the groomers on Wednesday. She was pretty stinky and I am not able to bathe her by myself in the bathtub so we went to Petco. Her favorite part....riding in the car!

After looking through all of Ross' pictures from his life so far I'm getting really sad how fast it's flown by! Wes and I are just so proud of him and love him so very much!

The Bash!

On Saturday we celebrated Ross' 4th birthday! (His actual birthday is December 8th) It was a wonderful afternoon with friends and family!

These are pictures on canvases that I do every year. I have people sign them and we display them in his room. These are from the last 3 years.

The party was a dirt bike theme so we had a dirt bike cake! It's from Mickey's and it was awesome!

These are 2 of Ross' favorite cousins, Braydon and Macie! We are so excited that they got to come to the party thanks to Mimi and Papa Lance!

So, not much is happening around the Morgan household these days. Although tomorrow is Ross' big birthday bash here so I should be cleaning as I type this!! But with nothing to blog about recently I decided to show you some funny pictures I took of Ross and the cat the other day....sleeping!!
